Xiaofu Ju
Hailing from China, Xiaofu graduated from the High School of Shanghai Conservatory, and is an alumnus of The Juilliard School, where he holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, He is pursuing a Konzertexamen diploma at the Hochschule für Musik Hannover. His mentors includes Ting Zhou,
Yoheved Kaplinsky, Nicolas Namoradze and Arie Vardi. Xiaofu has built an artistic career throughout Europe, America and Asia, having performed with numerous orchestras and held recitals at important venues. He is also an advocate for contemporary music, having premiered works by Olivier
Messiaen, Philip Glass and Xiaogang Ye. He is frequently featured on numerous music festivals, such as Beijing Music Festival, New York’s China Now Festival, Aspen Music Festival, Écoles d’Art Américaines de Fontainebleau, and Verbier’s soloist academy in 2024, where he was awarded the Tabor foundation prize. As an avid poet, he has published two collections of poems On the path
seeking for the ruins of spring, 2019. And The Late Sound, 2024.
