Why support ?

We, the non profit organization Berlin International Piano Masterclass e.V., are excited to announce the Berlin International Piano Masterclass – Berliner Klaviertage, an extraordinary Festival designed to inspire, educate, and connect talented musicians and music lovers from around the world and to experience the rich cultural landscape of Berlin.

Program and Mission:

The BIPM aims to become an internationally recognized music festival dedicated to the holistic development of young, aspiring classical pianists. We provide our participants the opportunity to enhance their pianistic and artistic skills, improve their concert performances, and explore valuable career options within the BIPM Network. Our participants study with prominent pianists and teachers, perform at prestigious venues like the Berlin Philharmonie, and gain experience through professional CD and DVD recordings, networking, and workshops. Our mission is to discover and nurture the next generation of great pianists, supporting their growth not only as musicians but also as part of a vital artistic community in the coming years. World established artists and emerging talents can exchange ideas, inspire one another, and present their music to the world. The festival thrives on this mutual exchange, in which both sides communicate with each other through their music and give the BIPM such a diverse character.

Why We Need Your Support:

Organizing an event of this scale requires significant resources to ensure that participants receive world-class training in a professional and inspiring environment. Your generous contributions will help us cover essential costs such as:

• World-Class Faculty: Renowned professors and pianists require fees, travel, and accommodation expenses.

Venue Rental: For the Berlin International Piano Masterclass 2025, we have booked the Kammermusiksaal of the Philharmonie Berlin, the Kamersaal at the Universität der Künste Berlin, teaching rooms at the university, numerous practice rooms for participants, and conference halls.

• Participant Support: Not all participants can afford to attend and rely on scholarships.

• CD and DVD Production: Recording for a CD is very costly. Additionally, the CD must be edited, manufactured, and designed, and the cover created before being uploaded to streaming platforms.

• Organisation: Accommodation & Transport etc.: We need funds to promote the event in the media, hire assistants, cover organizational team costs, legal advice, insurance, transportation, meals, piano tunings, student accommodations, and create flyers, brochures, and posters.

• Recordings, Promotion & Outreach: Recordings of concerts and masterclasses document the Berlin Masterclass 2025 for live streaming and public sharing on platforms like YouTube. Additionally, professional recordings are valuable career tools for young pianists, used for their social media or competition applications.

How You Can Help:

By donating to our crowdfunding campaign, you are directly contributing to the creation and success of the Berlin Masterclass and the artistic growth of young musicians. Whether you can give a little or a lot, every donation makes a difference. Your support will:

• Empower emerging pianists to achieve their full potential.

• Contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Berlin.

• Help create a lasting legacy of musical excellence and collaboration.

Thank you for believing in the greatness of music and for helping us bring this vision to life.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Artistic Director Yossi Reshef and Linus Härle
