The Berlin international Piano Masterclass is honoured to have legendary pianist and pedagogue Emmanuel Krasovsky on our distinguished faculty.
Prof Krasovsky is considered as one of today’s most influential and admired pedagogues worldwide.
A Professor of Piano at Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel-Aviv University, he was invited by maestro Daniel Barenboim to teach at the Barenboim-Said Academy, Berlin (between 2018-2020). Prof Krasovsky was a Soloist with Israel Philharmonic under Leonard Bernstein, Carlo Rizzi, Sidney Harth and others, as well as with other Israel’s orchestras. He gave Recitals in USA, Europe, and Israel. He recorded on CD the late piano sonatas by Schubert. He taught master-classes at Juilliard, New York International Keyoboard Festival, Paris Conservatory, London Royal Academy of Music, Royal College, and Guildhall School, Queen Sofia School in Madrid, Berlin Universität der Künste, Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, among many others. He was Jury member at international competitions: Arthur Rubinstein, Leeds, Dublin, Iturbi (Valencia), Honens, Horowitz (Kiev), Maj Lind (Helsinki), Konzerteum (Greece), Tbilisi, Bremen, Takamatsu, Canberra, Pinerolo, Sennigalia, Cincinnati, and others. He has numerous students who have been competition winners and active pianists world wide.
